Sera is the worst IMO because her specialization doesn't seem to do a whole lot unless you heavily micromanage her. It probably changes around depending on your character though. I was an archer rogue, so I imagine my list would look different if I were, say, a 2 handed warrior or a mage.

Templar gives you access to the Knight Commander's Plate which is 40% spell resist. Without the specialization its basically impossible to get 100% spell resist through items.
