Take the eastern portal out of Lion's Arch, then keep going south. Only take portals that point south, and you'll hit Mt. Maelstrom as the third map (excluding Lion's Arch). Open the map by pressing M. See whatever you have and just run to Mount Maelstrom.
All the ones I've found so far, including these two, can be accessed with the springer. Of course it's far too high to get up in 1 jump, but there's ledges along the way which you can jump up to. The ledges aren't all in a line so you'll need to jump up and then look to either side to see where the next ledge is, but it can be done. One of the things people wanted in Guild Wars 2 originally were mounts. It was a much missed element in the game. Fortunately arenanet has added mounts. Unfortunately you will need the second expansion, Path of Fire, in order to unlock them. So far, 8 different mounts have been introduced in the game, all with different factions and uses. Raptor The point is in the Hatari Tablelands, the area to the northeast of Amnoon. Go to the entrance to the Tablelands, in the southwestern part. You’ll find a ghost there – talk to him. This item has 15 different unlock possibilities. You only get the skins you don't own already i.e. it is not possible to receive duplicate skins. It is possible to buy more licenses than there are skins; if this occurs support must be contacted for a refund. You can get a skin for a mount you do not own, howeverMaking an alt, boosting it and playing PoF chapter 1 is your best option to get a mount early. Keep in mind you'll want someone to help you though. If you're fresh into this game I doubt you can beat the chapter solo; PoFs difficulty levels are entirely different to Core Tyria's, especially for someone who barely has scratched the surface.
The griffon is the mount I use most (I don't have the skyscale yet) but the springer is the one I miss most when I'm playing other games. I think the jackal has the coolest lore behind it, and the skimmer is the one I find most original. .
